The month of June arrives with exciting premieres for Prime Video subscribers. Among the news, we highlight the series of psychological suspense “liars”, based on the best-seller From E. Lockhart, and the police drama “Countdown”, starring Jensen Ackles. In addition, comedy fans can check out “Deep Cover”, a British production that mixes action and humor.

1. Lies, the series (13/06)
Based on the famous Mexican musical musical music, the series tells the story of four women who know each other during the funeral of Emmanuel Mijares (Luis Geraldo Mendéz), a man with whom they all kept secret novels. When it is revealed that he was murdered, they become the main suspicions and need to unravel the mystery, facing secrets and rivalries amid police investigation.
Set in the 1980s, the narrative mixes suspense and comedyalso exploring social issues such as female identity, gender stereotypes and structural machismo. All of this is led by a soundtrack full of classics of the time, which reinforce the emotional intensity and dynamism of history.
2. Deep cover (12/06)
The comedy of action Accompanies Kat (Bryce Dallas Howard), an improvisation comedy teacher who asks if she has lost her chance of success. When a disguised policeman offers her a unique opportunity, she recruits two of her students, Marlon (Orlando Bloom) and Hugh (Nick Mohammed), to infiltrate the underworld of London crime, pretending to be dangerous criminals. What begins as a makeshift performance becomes a risky mission, leading the trio to increasingly dangerous situations.
3. Liars (18/06)
Inspired by E. Lockhart’s bestseller “We Were Liars”, the plot follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind), a young American family that has a private island in New England, where summers pass. During one of these summers, the protagonist suffers a serious accident that causes amnesia, intense pain and episodes of depression, causing her to lose part of her memories of previous events.
Two years later, she returns to the island determined to rebuild the events of that fateful summer and discover the dark secrets her family hides, facing lies, betrayals, and internal conflicts. As advanced in the investigation, Cadence realizes that the truth is much more complex and painful than he imagined, placing family relationships and his own understanding of what really happened.
4. Head over heels (23/06)
Non-Su-min webtoon base, Série Korean It presents Park Seong-AH (Jo Yi-Hyun), a high school student who leads a double life as a modern shaman, known as “Cheonji”, and Bae Gyeon-Woo (Choo Young-Woo), a young man with a tragic fate: he is intended to die soon. Determined to change his destiny, Seong-Ah tries to save his first love, becoming a kind of “human amulet” to ward off the bad luck that pursues him.
5. Countdown (25/06)
The plot follows detective Mark Meachum (Jensen Ackles), who, after the murder in the light of the day of an internal security department agent, is summoned to integrate a secret task force. As the protagonist and his team investigate the crime, they discover a much larger conspiracy that threatens public safety, involving corruption, cyber threats and infiltrations in government agencies. During the mission, group members need to overcome their own conflict Personal and differences to prevent conspiracy from causing a catastrophe in Los Angeles.
