1. Me, you and all a lifetime – 12/09
The Korean drama “Me, You, and All Life” bets on emotion and intensity to portray the complexity of human bonds. The plot follows Ryu Eun-Jung (played by Kim Go-Eun) and Cheon Sang-Youon (Park Ji-Hyun), friends since infancyunited by dreams in the world of entertainment, but also by rivalries and resentments. After a break, the destinations of both follow different paths: Eun-Jung becomes a prominent screenwriter, while Sang-Yeon gains recognition as a film director.
The reunion of the two, at 42, occurs in the face of a devastating challenge that forces both to revisit memories and face old wounds. Created in South Korea and also starring Guen-Woo Kim, the production will have 15 episodes in the first season.
2. The wrong Paris – 12/09
Directed by Janeen Damian, the feature film “The wrong Paris” mixes romance and comedy in a light and fun plot. The protagonist Dawn, lived by Miranda Cosgrove, was born and raised in Texas, but has feeds from a young man the dream of studying at an art school in Paris. Despite being accepted, the lack of resources prevents you from traveling to the French capital. Created by Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, the “Black Rabbit” series brings an intense story set in the bustling New York. The plot follows Jake Friedkin, played by Jude Law, owner of one of the city’s hottest restaurants, who lives a moment of success and plans to expand his business. His life, however, changes dramatically when Vince, his brother Problematic lived by Jason Bateman, he returns after three years bringing a dangerous debt to a local gang.
This unexpected return puts not only Jake’s career, but also their family ties and their own survival. In the cast are also Cleopatra Coleman, such as Estelle, and Amaka Okafor, such as Roxie, in a plot that mixes drama, suspense and tension. The series promises to dive into moral dilemmas, rivalries between siblings, and the weight of choices that can change destinations.
4. The atomic refuge – 19/09
From the same creator of “La Casa de Papel”, Álex Pina, in partnership with Esther Martínez Lobato, arrives at the screen the Spanish series “The Atomic Refuge”. The story shows a group of isolated billionaires in a luxurious bunker in the US and Spain while the world faces the collapse of the third Guerra Worldwide. With a cast formed by Miren Ibarguuren, Joaquin Furriel and Natalia Verbeke, the plot mixes suspenseful and social criticism, revealing as privileges and tensions live side by side in a closed space.
5. House of Guinness – 25/09
Created by Steven Knight, the same screenwriter as “Peaky Blinders”, the series takes place between Dublin and New York in the nineteenth century and plunges into the history of family Guinness, responsible for turning the homonymous brewery into one of the most important in the world. The production features Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn and James Norton in the cast, as well as other weight names. Based on real stories, the narrative combines family drama, ambition and power, exploring how the brand’s fortune was shaped after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness.
