1. Vegetarian cashew nut fondue
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cashew nut tea
- 4 cups of hot water
- 500 g of cooked cassava
- 2 spoons of sopa of sour cassava starch
- 1 clove of grated garlic
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of olive oil
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- Water
- Toasted bread cubes for serving
Preparation mode
Place the cashew nuts in a container, cover with water and leave to soak for approximately 10 hours. Discard the water and blend the cashew nuts with the hot water in a blender until you obtain a paste. Remove and reserve. Place the remaining ingredients in the blender and blend until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
In a non-stick pan, place the blended mixture in a blender and cook over low heat for approximately 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the cashew nut paste and stir until you get a fondue texture. Transfer to a fondue device and serve with the bread cubes.
2. Vegetarian chocolate fondue
Ingredients
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 200 g the chocolate chopped vegan
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Strawberries to serve
Preparation Mode
In a pan, add the coconut milk and heat over low heat. Add the chocolate and stir until completely melted. Then add the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Stir for a few more minutes. Transfer the mixture to the fondue device and serve with the strawberries.
3. Vegetarian tomato fondue
Ingredients
- 300 g the tomato chopped ripe
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup dry wine
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Bread pieces and vegetables to serve
Preparation Mode
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the onion and garlic, sautéing until golden. Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the blender and blend until creamy. Return to the pan and place over medium heat. Add the white wine, salt and black pepper and stir until it thickens. Transfer to the fondue device and serve with pieces of bread and vegetables.
4. Vegetarian chickpea fondue
Ingredients
- 2 cups of tea chickpea cooked and drained
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- Salt to taste
- Boiled sweet potato to serve
Preparation mode
In a blender, blend the cooked chickpeas with the water, olive oil, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, garlic and salt until obtaining a homogeneous cream. Transfer to a non-stick pan and cook over low heat, stirring until it reaches a creamy texture. Transfer to a fondue device and serve with potato chips.
