The Minas Gerais LED brand parade, which took place on April 9, exemplified this perfectly, bringing visuals that value individuality, with hairstyles and looks Signed by Maurício Pina, hairdresser and artistic director of Jacques Janine.

The collection was inspired by open television as a symbol of Brazilian identity. We wanted to bring it to the catwalk strongly, beautiful and impactful,” explains Maurício Pina.

Waves glued to the head

The hairstyles drew attention for the plurality of shapes and textures. One of the highlights was the waves glued to the head, reminiscent of the filinders of the 1920s, but with a more architectural and modern footprint. “To achieve the effect with lightness and accuracy, we use the Solto Charming Fixed Modeling Mousse, which provided light and lasting fixation, without weighing the look,” says the professional.

Nagô Braids

The nagot braids were also present – structured, geometric and designed with graphic rigor, they functioned as true hair sculptures. The drawings, which crossed the scalp In precise lines, they evoked both ancestry and contemporary, creating an interesting contrast between tradition and innovation. In addition to beautiful, the braids were designed to resist the movement and warmth of the catwalk lights without losing definition.
