At Milan, he spent the last years of his career as a player and accumulated even more achievements. Wearing the Rossoneri shirt, he was two-time champion of the Italian Championship, the UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup. For the Italian national team, he played in the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, being part of an outstanding generation of Italian football.
