1. Picanha sandwich
Ingredients
Rump steak
- 600 g of sirloin steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Coarse salt and ground black pepper to taste
Assembly
- 4 ciabatta-style breads
- 200 g sliced cheddar cheese
- 2 tomatoes cut into slices
- 1 onion peeled and cut into thick slices
- Lettuce leaves to taste
Sauce
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chimichurri
Preparation mode
In a container, place the picanha steaks and season with coarse salt and black pepper. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sear the meat for 4 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, dijon mustard and chimichurri until you obtain a homogeneous sauce. Book.
Cut the bread in half and quickly place it in the frying pan over medium heat to brown. Arrange the cheddar slices over the meat while it is still hot to begin to melt. Arrange the lettuce leaves on the buns and spread the sauce over the top. Add the picanha with the cheddar cheese, onion rings and tomato slices. Close the sandwiches and serve immediately.
Ingredients
- 1 piece of picanha
- 200 g the mozzarella cheese cut into strips
- 150 g bacon cut into strips
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation mode
With a sharp knife, make a deep cut in the center of the picanha piece, forming a cavity without going through the meat. Fill with mozzarella cheese and bacon. Season the outside of the meat with garlic, salt and black pepper. Close the opening with toothpicks and place the meat in a roasting pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 50 minutes. Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes and slice. Serve then.
3. Picanha skewer
Ingredients
- 800 g of picanha cut into cubes
- 2 carrots peeled and cut into slices
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Coarse salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Water for cooking
Preparation mode
In a container, season the picanha with olive oil, garlic powder, coarse salt and black pepper. Assemble the skewers by alternating the meat cubes with the carrot slices. Place on the barbecue and bake for 12 minutes, turning the skewers to brown on all sides. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
