Between the 22nd and 28th of June, the platform receives everything from long-awaited productions to titles that promise to excite and entertain the public. There is the third season of “A New Woman”, a Turkish romance that won over the Brazilian public. It also reaches the streaming “The American Experiment”, a documentary series that investigates the future of North American democracy.
For film lovers, Netflix bets on comedies and adds “Little Brother”, starring John Cena, and “Malasartes e o Duel com a Morte”, a Brazilian classic based on the character from our folklore, Pedro Malasartes, to its catalog.

1. A New Woman – 3rd season (06/24)
As amigas Ada (Tuba Büyüküstün), Leyla (Seda Bakan) and Sevgi (Boncuk Yılmaz) estão de volt. Giving continuity to the events of second seasonbut with new developments, the new episodes follow the characters at the end of their spiritual journeys.
According to the official synopsis, while “Ada returns to Spain full of new perspectives, Sevgi and Leyla try to overcome a lifetime marked by betrayal and fear”. At the same time as they deal with their own challenges, the group’s dynamics are put to the test, revealing a transformative ending for each of them.
2. The American Experiment (06/24)
Divided into five episodes, “The American Experiment” revisits fundamental moments in the history of the United States, from the American Revolution to the Constitution. Analyzing almost 250 years of the country’s democracy, the work debates slavery, freedom and political polarization. In addition, the production features interviews with historians, academics and political figures, helping to build a balanced and in-depth narrative, which promises to generate discussions.
3. Avatar: The Last Airbender – season 2 (06/25)
Fans of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” can finally celebrate, as the series returns not only with new chapters, but also with complex political conflicts. The sequence follows the journey of Aang (Gordon Cormier) and his friends after the events in the Northern Water Tribe, showing the group’s arrival in Ba Sing Se in search of support to contain the advance of the Fire Nation. The second season brings new alliances, power struggles and battles exciting.
4. Little Brother (26/06)
An American comedy film, “Little Brother” tells the story of a famous real estate agent named Rudd (John Cena), whose life is turned upside down when his “little brother” unexpectedly reappears after suffering an accident. Trying to help him, the protagonist decides to host him in his home.
However, what seemed to be a simple act of solidarity soon turns into a turbulent coexistence, marked by episodes of confusion. Despite this, as their relationship evolves, Rudd rediscovers a side of himself that he hasn’t seen in a long time. The cast also includes names like Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni and Caleb Hearon.
Directed by Paulo Morelli, “Malasartes and the Duel with Death” follows the trajectory of Pedro Malasartes (Jesuíta Barbosa), a trickster who takes advantage of the good will of traders to play pranks and get some change. Although he almost always manages to escape his trickery, he accumulates enemies along the way, including his beloved’s brother, to whom he owes money and who does everything to prevent their relationship.
To escape him, Malasartes resorts to his well-known cunning and continues carrying out small scams in exchange for money. However, his biggest challenge comes when he must face Death incarnate, who plans to trick him into taking a vacation and transforming him into his successor. It is at this moment that his cunning is put to the test, forcing him to use all his creativity to escape a fate that seems inevitable.
