Discover traditional combinations used in rituals to conquer abundance and open paths
Viviane Pettersen
Herbal baths have been part of spiritual and popular traditions for centuries. More than a self-care ritual, they symbolize the renewal of energy and the opening of paths in different areas of life. When the goal is to attract prosperity, some plants are known for their association with abundance, success and opportunities.
Regardless of each person’s beliefs, the ritual can function as a moment of connection with oneself, strengthening intentions and cultivating a more positive mindset in relation to money, work and personal achievements.
Below, see three baths traditionally used for this purpose!
1. Bay and cinnamon bath
Laurel is widely associated with victory, prosperity and conquest of goals, while cinnamon symbolizes expansion, movement and abundance. Together, they form a combination widely used in rituals aimed at attracting good opportunities.
Materials
- 1 l of water
- 7 bay leaves
- 3 cinnamon sticks
How to do it
In a pan, boil water over medium heat. Turn off the heat and add the bay leaves and cinnamon. Let the infusion rest for about 15 minutes. After your usual bath, pour the mixture from the neck down, envisioning financial growth, new opportunities and prosperity. Let the body dry naturally if possible.
2. Rosemary, basil and mint bath
This combination is recommended to renew energy, ward off discouragement and stimulate confidence to conquer new projects. Rosemary is known to promote mental clarity, basil is linked to luck and prosperity, while mint represents renewal and circulation of good energy.
Materials
- 1 l of water
- 1 handful of rosemary
- 1 handful of basil
- 1 handful of mint
How to do it
In a pan, boil water over medium heat. Turn off the heat and add a handful of each herb. Cover the container and wait approximately 20 minutes. Strain the mixture and use it after your usual bath, always from the neck down. During the ritual, visualize doors opening and favorable situations coming into your life.
3. Chamomile and sunflower bath
For many spiritual traditions, prosperity also depends on emotional balance and the ability to maintain positive thoughts. Chamomile promotes tranquility, while sunflower petals symbolize successvitality and abundance.
Materials
- 1 l of water
- 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers
- 1 handful of sunflower petals
How to do it
In a pan, boil water over medium heat. Turn off the heat and add the chamomile and sunflower petals. Let the infusion rest for about 15 minutes, strain and slowly pour over the body after a conventional bath. Take this moment to be grateful for the achievements already achieved and strengthen your intention to receive new opportunities.
Intention is also part of the ritual
Although herbal baths are widely used in practices spiritualist and esoteric, they do not replace concrete attitudes to achieve prosperity, such as financial planning, dedication to work and organization. The ritual works as a symbol of renewal and strengthening of intention, helping to start new cycles with more confidence, hope and focus on goals.
