How to prepare the Oxalá bath
Materials
- 2 liters of water
- 1 handful of boldo leaves
- 1 handful of cotton leaves (when available)
- Petals of a white rose (optional)
How to do it
In a pan, heat the water until it boils. Turn off the heat and add the herbs and petals. Cover the bowl and let it rest for about 20 minutes. Then strain the mixture. During preparation, try to maintain positive thoughts and focus on peace, balance and renewal.
After taking your hygiene bath normally, pour the herbal bath slowly from the neck down. While doing this, say a prayer, talk to your spirituality or simply realize that all the energy of tiredness, worry and imbalance is being transformed into serenity and light. When finished, let your body dry naturally, whenever possible, and wear light-colored clothes to prolong the feeling of tranquility.
