Before this type of makeup gained space in makeup bags, those who wanted to achieve the effect needed to improvise products that were not always safe or developed for this purpose. “When the trend started to gain strength, there were no specific options on the market. Today, eyebrow gels provide high hold and comfort, allowing you to create a lined look without leaving the hairs rigid or artificial”, he says.

Another option for those looking for this look is the brow lamination professional. However, because it requires periodic maintenance and some specific care, makeup has gained ground among those who prefer to achieve their finish in a flexible way. With the right products, you can bet on eyebrows well aligned one day and, the next, choose a more natural look, in keeping with the style or occasion.

Creating the effect of brow lamination

The secret to achieving the effect with makeup, according to Cleiton Carter, goes beyond choosing a good product: “The ideal is to apply the gel following the natural direction of the strands and then gently comb them upwards before the product dries. This movement helps to add volume, enhances the eyebrow design and also creates the impression of fuller strands, without leaving a rigid or artificial finish.”

For those who have flaws or want an even more defined effect, it’s also worth investing in filler makeup. Pencils, mechanical pencils and specific shadows help create the sensation of greater volume, especially in areas with a lower concentration of threads. The tip is to first fill in the areas with gaps, using light movements that imitate the design of the hairs, and finish with the gel to align and fix the eyebrow, following the routine from beginning to end.
