In moments of difficulty or uncertainty, it is possible to turn to prayer as a way to seek protection, ward off negative energies and strengthen faith. Through words of devotion, we are able to find comfort, renew our strength and ask for support to follow our paths with more confidence. To start the week with more tranquility and hope, we have put together three powerful prayers aimed at spiritual strengthening and the search for protection. Check it out!

1. Prayer against all evil

Father, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit and also by the intercession From Our Lady, the archangels and angels and all the saints in paradise, I ask for help to free myself from all evil, curses or plagues, the evil eye, as well as any and all evil or influence of any object coming from the occult.

Expel all evil forces from my life so that I can live as a new creature filled with the Holy Spirit. Expel from my life all temptation or evil oppression coming from the diabolical infestation of some doctrine that does not proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my life. This frees me from this influence on my spirit, mind, body, family, home, profession and business. Purify me from all sin, envy, jealousy, grudge or hatred created. Heal me from my illnesses and, if behind them there is some diabolical presence, free me.

Free me from all obsession, anguish or depression, giving me back the strength to live. Burn all these evils in hell, so that they no longer have the power to cause harm in my life. I command and ask, with the strength of omnipotent God, in the name of Jesus Christ the Savior, that all unclean spirits that are harassing me leave immediately and return to eternal hell. I believe they are now chained by Saint Michael, Saint Raphael and Saint Gabriel, our guardian angels, and crushed by the heels of the Virgin Mary. Amen.

2. Prayer of protection to Archangel Michael

Glorious Saint Michael the Archangel, powerful winner of spiritual battlescome to help my spiritual and temporal needs. Drive away from my presence all evil and every attack and snare of the enemy. With your powerful sword of light, defeat all evil forces and illuminate my paths with the light of your protection.

Archangel Michael, from evil: free me; from the enemy: deliver me; from storms: help me; from dangers: protect me; from persecution: save me! Glorious Saint Michael the Archangel, by the heavenly power conferred on you, be a brave warrior for me and lead me on the paths of peace. Amen!

2. Saint George’s Prayer

I will walk dressed and armed with the weapons of Saint George so that my enemies, having feet, cannot reach me; having hands, do not catch me; having eyes, do not see me; and not even in thoughts can they do harm. Firearms my body will not reach, knives and spears will break without my body touching, ropes and chains will break without my body being tied.

Jesus Christ, protect and defend me with the power of Your holy and divine grace. Virgin of Nazareth, cover me with your sacred and divine mantle, protecting me in all my pains and afflictions. And God, with His divine mercy and great power, be my defender against the evil and persecution of my enemies.

Glorious Saint George, in the name of God, extend to me your shield and your powerful weapons, defending me with your strength and your greatness, and may, under the paws of your faithful rider, my enemies remain humble and submissive to you. So be it with the power of God, Jesus and the phalanx of the Divine Holy Spirit. Saint George, pray for us. Amen.
